Loved your article! Well written and engaging. I've also wondered how many of the staff we've seen on TV actually work shifts there especially after the show has gone to air. After all, they get paid to be in the show, which would be more than enough to pay the rent, go on a holiday, and still have some money left to sock away for rainy days.

I'm guessing the main characters get 30 -100K each (depending on the number of scenes they shoot) for the 4months they are tied up with the show. People like Stassi and Jax would get the most. Maybe there's a clause in the contract where they have to stay working at SUR to be able to participate in the 2nd season.

Speaking of staying employed...in the finale, Jax quits. So I'm curious to figure out if he came back, or if it was a rouse for the benefit of TV and he never left.
