FOX News is full of professional trolls. Believe me; I’ve done the necessary logarithms, charted the available data, and done some computing with my Super Computer. It’s all there, my friends. If my number crunching isn’t proof enough, by now you have surely heard about FOX and Friends host Brian Kilmeade’s most recent misogynistic comments. Whereas previously the anchor was content to simply make co-host Gretchen Carlson walk off set, this time he set all female FOX anchors directly in his cross-hairs. While broadcasting his radio show, Kilmeade made an…interesting quip about Fox News’ hiring procedures. After being asked about the addition of Alisyn Camerota to his news team, Kilmeade “joked,” “It was actually, we go into the Victoria’s Secret catalog and we said, ‘Can any of these people talk?’ And they all could and they all went to college.” When at first you don’t succeed with a binder full of woman, try the Victoria’s Secret catalog, because if you can’t have ‘em sexy, who cares if they’re qualified, amiriiiite?!
Kilmeade’s comment is obviously problematic to the nth degree. He is suggesting that female anchors’ primary objective is not to offer analysis or their point-of-view but to bring a hint of cleavage and a glossy lip to boring ol’ news. Furthermore, he implies that it’s somehow a feat to find women who are both attractive and smart. Apparently Brian Kilmeade is living in a ’80′s sex comedy fantasy world wherein good-looking women twirl their hair, sit open-mouthed in class, and punctuate their all sentences with the word “like.” While Kilmeade seems to think wondering if Victoria’s Secret models are also smart is a joke, we do not, and in that spirit we’ve put together a list of just a few models who have brains and beauty in spades, and would probably rather jump off a bridge than work with Kilmeade.
Kilmeade is an [expletive deleted]. But he certainly gave us a little inside baseball as to how Fox News hires and approves female anchors. Still, it’s a little unfair to characterize just the female Fox News anchors as brainless. They pretty much all are. Or substitute “brainless” with “the mouths of corporate America” if you prefer.

Kilmeade is super smart, himself. All the female talent on FoxNews is smart, as well. Kilmeade is also hilariously funny. If you didn’t find these particular comments funny, then fine. But to say it was an honest recruitment technique or that Kilmeade is misogynistic is a reeeeeeaaaaaal strettttttttch.
