You've Got To Be Kidding
Offensive Laundry Instruction Label: Washing Clothes Is A Woman’s “Job”
2:45 pm, March 5th | by Amy Tennery
What year is this?
Last week we learned why it’s a very bad idea to pull misogynistic garbage on a high-profile CNBC reporter. Now we learn why it’s terrible luck to have your offensive-slash-”funny” clothing tag in the hands of a Daily Telegraph editor.
As Gawker discovered, Telegraph staffer Emily Barnett tweeted out this photo of her boyfriend’s clothing tag. Don’t wash your clothes, “give it to your woman,” the tag read, “it’s her job.” Hilarious.
No word yet on which clothing company is behind this gem. Although I don’t think it’ll stay that way for long.
