You’re Already Way Behind On Your Holiday Shopping

If you’re not done with your holiday shopping yet, you’re basically no better than Scrooge.
At least that’s what this Kelton Global infographic seems to suggest. The graphic, which states that “holiday shopping is NOT just a post-Thanksgiving event,” reveals that 28 percent of consumers start shopping before Halloween and 62 percent (more than half!) begin by Thanksgiving. The rest of the folks — a.k.a the slackers, buy between Turkey Day and Christmas. Nearly half of shoppers expect to spend as much online as they do in-store, and 70 percent intend to make purchases in the $100 range. Almost all of shoppers prefer to hit up the malls alone. Now that I understand — shopping with others is quite distracting.
