You’re Already Way Behind On Your Holiday Shopping

At least that’s what this Kelton Global infographic seems to suggest. The graphic, which states that “holiday shopping is NOT just a post-Thanksgiving event,” reveals that 28 percent of consumers start shopping before Halloween and 62 percent (more than half!) begin by Thanksgiving. The rest of the folks — a.k.a the slackers, buy between Turkey Day and Christmas. Nearly half of shoppers expect to spend as much online as they do in-store, and 70 percent intend to make purchases in the $100 range. Almost all of shoppers prefer to hit up the malls alone. Now that I understand — shopping with others is quite distracting.
