Ever thought about a career in flight service? If so, be sure to work for the airline with the happiest, most cheerful employees. A new infographic by PayScale reveals that Alaska Airlines ranks number one in airlines with chipper staffers, with Southwest coming in second, Delta third, Jet Blue fourth, U.S. Airways sixth, and United last at seventh. You may think your coworkers’ attitudes won’t affect your work performance, but a happy office can boost morale and even lengthen lives, and you’d rather be around a bunch of content folks than a pack of Debbie Downers, right?
If you insist on working among less-than-peachy workers, you can head to Jet Blue, as 73 percent of workers reported experiencing high levels of stress on the job. Conversely, 82 percent of Alaska Airlines workers reported feeling extremely or fairly satisfied professionally. Unsurprisingly, Alaska tops the list of on-time flights, with 88 percent of its departures leaving on schedule. That’ll spare the employees some disgruntled and frustrated passengers!
