Why Does MTV Want To Make A Show About ‘Catty’ Girls?

Wasn’t “Mean Girls” enough?

It looks like MTV hasn’t taken the hint that insanely stupid reality program premises enrage a ton of people, as the network is apparently working on a new program about “catty,” hard-partying teens.

An ad obtained by The Frisky reveals that the channel is casting for a show about people ages 16-21 who “live to party,” “love creating drama,” and are “just like the catty women of reality TV.” Because, ya know, that’s the kind of lady we all aim to become someday:

    When those awful hurricanes and tornadoes decimated entire towns in 2010, MTV leadership was battling over whether or not to do a reality tv show about an all girl band. The thought of covering the hurricane devastation and maybe showing how people rebuild their lives was the farthest thing from MTV’s mind.
