Man Seeks Dental Work From Scorned Ex-Girlfriend, Predictably Loses All Of His Teeth

A cautionary tale: If you leave your girlfriend for another woman, don’t show up at her office days after your breakup. Especially if the girlfriend in question is a dentist.

Anna Mackowiak, a dentist in Poland, was probably surprised to see her ex-boyfriend, Marek Olszewski, walk into her office after he dumped her in favor of another love interest. But Olszewski had a toothache, apparently, so he asked her for some assistance. Oh, and she assisted him alright. She (allegedly) assisted him with a big ol’ helping of anesthesia and then proceeded to remove every last one of his teeth while he was sedated, according to the Daily Mail.

Since many feel ill at ease at the dentist’s office — even if said dentist is Santa Claus himself — it’s curious that Olszewski would return to his ex-girlfriend’s practice for help. Were there no other dentists available? Was his toothache that bad? (Scratch that. There is no toothache bad enough to force you toward your scorned lover for dental work.) For his part, Olszewski explained, “I thought she was a professional.” And she thought you weren’t going to leave her for another woman, Olszewski. So I guess everyone’s disappointed! (Note: That’s a joke. I in no way endorse dental-related revenge on anyone.)

Mackowiak is currently facing charges for her alleged toothectomy. If convicted she may face jail time. Perhaps she’ll get off with some community service — you know, indentured servitude.

Probably not the mans smartest move.

Probably not the woman’s smartest move, is what you wanted to say. Or should I say, is what any decent person would say. Violence is bad, okay, ladies? Even if your widdle feewings are hurt. If the guy left her, so what? She obviously wasn’t doing it for him, and he’s well within his rights to leave. Should guys act violently if girls leave them for some other fella? That won’t hold up in the court of public opinion – or law. Or maybe we just hold men to higher standards, and expect more of them as a class, while expecting less from women as a class?

So, is it that we expect less from women (and more from men), or is it probably not the smartest move on Ms. Dentist’s part? Which is it, Ashley?

Imagine how this story would be reported if the reverse occurred?

Read Super’s comment. Pretty much sums up my reply.

Gotta say, this made me feel kinda icky to read. It reads like victim-blaming to me. Yes, the guy didn’t make a smart decision, but that didn’t entitle her to pull the man’s GD teeth out! Victim-blaming isn’t okay when it happens to women, so it shouldn’t be toward men, either.

That’s horrible story. Why she will do that,, just for dump ?? I don’t think that is a reasonable case

It’s a horrible story.. Yes he wasn’t right about his decision but she doesn’t have the right to do such as they’re not anymore.

Haha, that’s good that you don’t condone that!  We can’t have a bunch of vigilante dentists running around now can we?

She was DEAD WRONG and the guy didn’t deserve what she did. That said – I think I’ll chalk this up as a confirmation of the commonsense fact that it is a good policy to make a clean break with exes. Angry people cannot be relied upon to make rational decisions and.the.cops can’t get your teeth replaced.
