Waterpark Bans Women From Slide Due To ‘Intimate Injuries,’ Gynecologists Call BS

Slide distinctions aren’t just between big kid slides and little kid slides anymore: A waterpark in Germany has made one of its slides men-only after multiple women complained of suffering “intimate injuries” caused by rushing water on the ride. Only women have reported injuries, but the Professional Association of Gynecologists expressed skepticism on the notion that a slide could bring about vaginal problems.

The park’s manager is sticking to his theory, though, as he does not want to “discriminate against” women:

“These injuries are caused by the nature of the female anatomy.”

But when asked whether waterpark staffers had mulled over restructuring the slide, Maier said this possibility had never really been considered, as the slide is new and cost more than $100,000 to build. Instead the park might provide protective suits for women to wear on the ride, “like for ice hockey,” but that’s not exactly going to reassure women that they’ll be safe. Better to just cater to half the population and change the slide’s engineering than potentially cause any more injuries.

How could it ONLY hurt lady parts? Our are more… compact than the alternative.

Maybe there’s a reason only women complained and it’s not just because they’re the only ones that received injuries? Or maybe just by fate the first several injuries happened to be a certain gender?

Just taking a guess as to why and banning women, instead of, I dunno, shutting down the whole ride and looking into it, is pretty damn sexist. If it hurt dingdongs instead (it probably does), we can bet a good amount that it wouldn’t have turned into women-only.
