Why Women Rule Social Media: We’re Less Likely To Post Something We’ll Regret Later

Social media is slowly but surely taking over our lives, and if you happen to be female, chances are you’re more consumed by it than your male counterparts.
A new infographic on social media gender divide reveals that females make up 56 percent of social media usage and go on Twitter, Facebook, Zynga, and Pinterest more often than dudes. Though guys are twice as likely as gals to post something online that they’ll later regret, men are ahead of women in their usage of Reddit, LinkedIn, and Google+. But Google+ hasn’t exactly taken off, so don’t feel too bad about not embracing it to the fullest.
