Fascinating New Data Sheds Light On The State Of Women Of Color In U.S.

While it’s clear the the economy isn’t exactly going gangbusters lately, a new set of data from the Center for American Progress highlights the unique challenges that women of color in the U.S. face.
Looking at data on wage gap, education and leadership (among other criteria), the report states plainly the financial hurdles hispanic, african-american, native american and asian-american women deal with, including high unemployment and diminished access to health insurance.
