Women Are Less Likely To Post Stupid Things On Facebook And Twitter

Do you set your Facebook profile to private? Do you frequently “delete” Facebook friends? If you’re female, it’s more likely that you do.

According to a new Pew study, ladies are more likely to defriend (unfriend? I don’t know) and they’re also more likely to keep their profiles private.

What are men more likely to do? They’re almost twice as likely to post something online and then end up regretting it. Well, uh, maybe if more of them focused on keeping things private, fewer of them would regret the dumb stuff they posted to the public. Paging Anthony Weiner?

Ladies, keep on doing what you’re doing: not posting stupid things, or at least posting stupid things but keeping your profile private.
