Half Of Working Moms Say They “Struggle” To Balance Work And Family [Infographic]

A quarter of working mothers say their coworkers “don’t understand” what it takes to balance work and family — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg with a new (and, frankly, kind of depressing) survey on moms with careers.
Compiled by The Ladders, the study shows that a significant portion (55 percent) of working moms “struggle” to balance work and home life, calling the juggle “overwhelming.” Sixteen percent of respondents, meanwhile, said their coworkers are “resentful of [their] competing priorities.
