Your Guide To The Best Holiday Shopping Days This Season [INFOGRAPHIC]
5:30 pm, November 23rd | by Laura Donovan
What’s scarier than an episode of “American Horror Story” on Halloween? Holiday shopping. Overwhelming lines, exorbitant price tags, and spending budgets can tire you out and bring out the worst in humankind, but with this compilation of excellent days to make your purchases, you’ll have less to worry about as Christmas and Hanukkah near.
The infographic, which Savings.com put together, reveals that Black Friday (duh!) through Monday November 26 are the best days to take care of holiday shopping, with December 17 being a solid day for free shipping. I wouldn’t recommend doing the whole Black Friday thing, but some know how to make it really fun and worthwhile, so if you’re among that crowd, knock yourself out.
November 24 will be Small Business Saturday with $68 of every $100 spent at a local retailer returning to the community, so if you really care about seeing your town thrive, shop on that day. Last year, consumers spent $1.3 billion on the Monday after Thanksgiving, so be sure to consider partaking in Cyber Monday if you’re into stimulating the economy and what not. The infographic also illustrates the best times to get electronics, apparel, and books, music & movies, jewelry, toys, cosmetics, and more. Take a look at the full graphic below before setting out to buy holiday gifts.
